Spring Workday Thank you

Hello CASA Members,

I would like to thank all of you who came out to our First work day of 2014.  We got a lot accomplished today and I would like to thank all of you who came out and did so much for our club today.  We did a great amount of greatly needed work on our range.  We got all of the ranges graveled and cleaned up.  We got grass cut and range target sticks updated.  We got several dead trees removed and the roads graded and regraveled.  We even got the prop shed sorted out and it’s as organized as I have ever seen it.  The range vehicles were washed and all look like new, almost.  There was good companionship and a wonderful day to do it all.  Thank you one and all for making this one of our most productive work days ever.

IDPA and Steel Challenge—-All in one day!!!!

That’s right shooters, a chance for two great matches in one trip to the range!!! All on Saturday, April 12. We’re offering this opportunity to accommodate our club spring work day set for the following the weekend.

IDPA- Set up begins at 0730 and help is always appreciated. Stages don’t set themselves up and the more participants we have the easier it is for all so come out and help. Registration will open at 0930 with shooting beginning as close to 1000 as possible. There will be four challenging and fun stages of fire so bring lots of ammo. Match fee is $10.00.

Steel Challenge- Registration will open as soon as IDPA is complete but no later than 1230. Shooting begins at 1300. Match fee is $10.00 and there will be four stages of fire. This will be a great opportunity to start getting you trigger finger in shape for our Natural State Steel Challenge Championship scheduled for June 28 & 29.

The weather is looking good (finally!!!), the opportunities for fun are plentiful and what better way is there to spend a Saturday. Come out shoot both match or just take your pick.  Tell a friend. We look forward to seeing you at the range.

Spring Workday Notice 4/19/2014

Hello CASA Members,

We will be holding our Spring workday on Saturday April 19th.  This is an important day as we will clean up our range and prepare for our Spring 2014 events.  We are planning several jobs to be completed at the workday and I for one would like to see a large turnout for this most important event.  Don’t forget to put this date on your personal calendars so you don’t forget to come.   We will begin the workday at 0900 and continue until 1700 or when all projects are finished.  We plan to clean and repair all areas of the range.   As always bring Gloves, weed whackers, Drills and a willing spirit.  If you have a medical problem that would keep you from lifting we have several lighter projects such as trash collection and leaf removal especially in the pavilion and on range #6.  I’m looking forward to seeing  you all at our first workday in 2014.

See you all on the Range,
